This lab course introduces students to the practical use of EMR and EHR. The students will be introduced to Medisoft (EMR) and EhrGo (EHR) Students will practice medical billing and coding scenarios using simulations in processing patient claims, coding and claim transmission for the purposes of payment and reimbursement. Students will also gain knowledge about the administrative functions associated with each billing step.
